Question remove cruise control cable.. now shift weird?

i got a 94 honda civic ex 1.6vtec auto....blah blah

ok now heres the thing, 2-3years ago the tranny went, and the gas pedal got heavy [hard to press]
after the swap its still heavy..
so come today i decided to really look into it .. not like it was causing a problem

but anyways i removed the cruise control cable hook off the throttle

gas pedal is no longer heavy and feels like what i use to!

but when i drove it, the shifting was as if the gears was slipping

so i connect the cable back and its back to heavy pedal and regular gear changing

Sounds like you disconnected the transmission control cable. It is connected to the throttle body. The cruise control cable goes through the firewall to the gas pedal, not connected to the throttle body.

HA yea i coming to that,i picked up my manual book and started to go thru it and im like where the hell does it say that line is a cruise control!
smh fail.. ok now what would cause the pedal to be heavy.. is it a spring at the end of that cable?

-- cause i do remember the mech telling me about he lost or broke a spring and had to replace it .. but even b4 that.. the pedal got heavy when the tranny went.. so idk lol
