Default radiator issues

hi there - first post

have a 90 dx hatchback

was out of town for 3 weeks, and it was super hot here while i was gone.

got back and drve the car on about a 45 minute trip across town, and i notice its steaming.

the next day, i check the fluid, and its basically gone

so i'm wondering, did the heat evaporate the fluid and by driving it i might have jacked up the radiator? i havent done much with radiators before so i dont have much of a concept of how to trouble shoot this sittuation.

any tips would be greatly appreciated

Step 1:

Refill radiator with coolant and locate the source of the coolant leak.
