Default Quick question ... ANY HELP APPRECIATED

i got a quick question ... i was lookin at the ram horn manifolds for the turbo cars and i really like the way it looks inside the engine bay... if i made one for my car without the use of a turbo would it add power, take power away, or do nothing... im not really trying to make a 10 sec car i jus like the way it looks and i can do some welding so i was just curious if anybody can help out that would be great thanx

you mean the front intercooler?

ive heard they actualy sell a intercooled intake system for the 92-95 civics but its not a full size intercooler,
tho a intercooler is sealed, it acts just like your radiator,
the intake ive seen that they make for the civic is more less like a real RAM AIR effect, but it has a shield on the front of it for daily driving, but at the track you take off the shield for the ram air effect.

o ok. i see what ya mean....... ya its very posible. just buy that manifold and weld up your own downpipe. very simple with some thick enough steel for the mounting flange and cut it to the shape of the turbo mount plate and simply weld a exaust pipe to it... and just make a plate for the smaller opening turn down or what ever its called....

preaty simple if ya got some metal fabricating skills.....

heres a picture of what most should look like on the mounting flange.

if you want to improve the flow alittle beter you might want to get some type of square exaust tubing for a more even flow to curve into a typical circle exaust style!
