Default Question about my 2004 Civic

I have a 2004 Civic coupe with 80,000KM.

Lately when driving my Civic I notice that the engine seems to be revving too high.

For example, when I drive my car in 5th speed at 120 km/h, the rpm's are slightly under 3000, but right now it is almost 3500 in 5th.

It almost sounds like it is in 4th gear and needs to go up to 5th...

I also notice in the lower gears it is revving higher at a lower speed and I have to gear up much sooner.

Any thoughts?

Can this be fixed without having to install a whole new clutch? I also am having issues putting in reverse...sometimes I have to try it 2-3 times...

I know every situation is different, but I wonder what the ballpark cost would be?

Check the clutch reservoir and make sure its at the proper level with DOT3 brake fluid. Also, how does the peddle feel?

Peddle feels ok...it's not really stiff but it makes a bit of a squeek once it is close to the floor.

I am wondering if it is indeed fluid levels....
