Default Problem@ around 3000rpm, plz help

hi,
my 98 civic hx has a problem and im not sure what to call it, when im around 3000rpm it starts studdering, like going then pulling back then repeating. almost if you were hitting the gas then the brake then the gas, it happens when i am holding the pettal stedy, it is really anoying cause my head gets bobbed all around, its not a very strong sensation but its definatelly noticable.
-anyways i was wondering if yall had ne ideas on how i might be able to fix this,

stuff i have done to car:

i put in a aem v2 cai, greddy evo 2 catback, dc sports 4-2-1 header, magnaflow high flow cat,
o2 censors are good,
put in new spark plus
new plug wires,
cap & rotor looked good, cleaned em,
cleaned throttle body

- i am now thinking it might be the fuel pump?/injecters?
thanks in adv

what type of spark plugs did you put in?

take off the air filter and spray carb cleaner (excessively!) into the throttle body, then start and bring it for a good hard drive

is your car auto or manual?

it could also be a worn throttle position sensor - if you can plug a voltmeter into it, it should give a gradual and consistent reading upto 5 volts as you press down on the accelerator; any irregularities in the reading would suggest a worn tps
next time you go for a spin, get it so that the car is hesitating, then change up or down a gear and see if it persists - try to see if it's engine speed or throttle position causing it

lemme know how you get on

i read a neg on carb cleaners being used on throttle bodies - will ruin the MAP sensor.
Try that seafoam stuff - in gas tank.
think there would be a cel (check engine light) if one of those sensors were bad.

unplug your throttle position sensor and drive it and see if it still does it if it doesnt than you need a new one
