Splice into the WHT/YEL wire as close to fuse 5 as possible. Cut the WHT/YEL wire but, prior to splicing in the new wire, verify that there is battery voltage at the cut point nearest fuse 5 with the ignition key ON. If so, splice in the new wire.

How do you plan to make the connection of the other end of the new wire at the window switch?

i would probably splice it to the wht/yellow wire as close to the switch as possible that way i wouldnt be pulling the wire out of the connector

I agree.

As addiction mentioned, what's your plan on routing the wire from under the dash into the driver's door?

i would run it through the door where all the other wires run through. I have a little gap there that it will allow me to pass the wire through

I finally got my driver side window working with the master driver switch but now i realized that withthat master switch i can't operate the passenger side. Do i have to jump any wires on the connector to operate the passenger side?

Does the passenger switch operate the passenger window?

If not:

1) Check whether fuse 8 is blown.

2) Test the window motor by supplying battery power to it.

As you are hearing the motor attempting to move the passenger window, you may have a bad window regulator.

Here are some more electrical tests. Perform the last test (4) on the connector attached to the driver switch.
