Thanks Ron, still working on this. Just had a thought I have had an issue in the past off and on when I get out of the car I sometimes get a small shock when I brush against the door, could this be related or ita different common problem.

It's possible, though the shock might also come from simple build up of static charge.

i had a problem like this where i lubed my windows up and they worked fine and then........... my driver side window just died then started clicking so i tried to roll it down and the auto came on forcing my window down where it stripped all the teeth on the window regulator.

Going out in a bit for more fuses if they do not blow I will stop at the Honda shop and pay out the but for a new switch. 87 in stock new on line was 65 + shipping and time.

I started to pull it apart but the control box is held together real tight.
I did find a used one localy for $50 not sure how reliable this kind of part would be. Might be worth spending the money on new?

I know I would have at least 30 days and I would be able to plug it in right away to make sure it worked. I am just worried about the wear on a 7 year old part that is mechanical and electrical. After all I wore one out already.
