Default Power loss on heavey acceration

I have a 96 civic EX witha D16 z6 swapped in it. I havent had it running 100% yet. Heres the Problem. When i get on the gas hard when i get to about 3rd gear the car begins to lose power.(sounds like its gettingto much fuel)The car is smoking like it is running rich, the car gets hot, there is a chatter from the motor that sounds like valves(notpositive if its the valves), when its floored in 3rd gear it picked up really slow then when i go to fourth it slowly decreases in speed. Im not sure if it is timing, the vtec isnt working right, or something with the fuel. I cleared all the CEL codes and after i drive it for a little bit the CEL code 43 comes on. which says about fuel pressure,FPR,and vacuum leaks. also the car gets hot really fast. even when driving on the highway. no coolant loss, but the overflow fills up. a lot of the symptoms there could be timing according to the haynes but would it cause all of that stuff? Any input would be GREATLY appreciatied
THANKS!!

also the chatter and the power loss is only under heavy acceleration, if i slowly get on it it runs fine, beside thegetting hot part. and i just changed the intake mani gasket, head gasket, and thethe vtec is brand new[:@]
