Guys Please help me and tell me is this a vTEC engine ?
I want to buy this car but it is far away from my home so I want to know is this a VTEC if it is I am going there and will buy the car.

That is a DOHC engine, 95% sure it's VTEC.

 

Its an Si also so I'd say its VTEC

that's not a vtec motor. it's a dual overhead cam motor but it's not vtec. that's either a zc motor or an ls motor

 

Its an A8/A9 or ZC. great motor, even though it isnt vtec. not a huge amount of aftermarket support. but makes a hellish noise once it gets going.

 

i like my current dohc zc.........personally i think there crap with out some sort of big power adder.

 

who gives a **** about vtec, that is a good car, vtec is really not all that great, there are a couple guys on another forum i frequent that make 300 whp out of a d16a6 turbo and that isn't vtec.

 

just look and see if its got the VTEC solenoid, located around the back left of the cylinder head.
