At first when it started to die it would take a little bit to start. once it wouldn't start when i turned the key nothing would happen. I hear some loud clicks for a few seconds and then nothing would happen. Thats what i know about the problem i had.

Measure the voltage from your battery. If less than 12.6 after charging it, replace. Battery voltage should also hold up above 9.0 while it is cranking the engine.

You have about 3 indications that the battery is shot, yet you are stubborn.

All bets are off with aftermarket ignition. Stock ignitions are designed to work at low voltage and usually handle situations like this. Probably not so much the case with aftermarket.

Turn key on, do the oil and battery lights come on? Then turn to start, but don't let it actually crank. That would be done by NOT pressing the clutch down, or if it's automatic, put the selector on D rather than P, and hold the brakes on. Watch when you turn the key all the way-- do the oil and battery lights stay on?

Further testing will require a voltmeter, do you have one?

What about oil and brake (pull the hand brake up)? If none of those lights come on that means there's a blown fuse, or the ignition switch is bad.
