Default Oil in coolant

I have a '95 EX with 253k miles.
I've been finding oil in the coolant. More specifically in the recovery tank.
I haven't found any coolant in the oil.
My mechanic said that it could be a blown head gasket on the compression side.
He's not sure.
He said to get in a forum (like this) to find out if there's any other seals or gaskets where oil could get into the coolant.

Blown head gasket, 9 times out of 4. Will you be doing a DIY fix or having the shop fix it?
