Oil Change
Just to let everyone know that it is okay for your car to go over 3000 miles without chaning oil. The oil ccompany say that is so that they can make money off of you. Your car should be able to go up to 5000miles without and problem any problem. Plus the oil will still be good as 3000miles. 7000miles is when significant problem may start occuring. So mainly you will be safe if you go over 3000miles. 7000miles is when you maybe want to start changing ur oil.

RE: Oil Change
well, synthetic will leave less residue on the internals, an dsimply lubricates better, so it is better to use it. and it costs a little more than 2x as much, so if you go about 5-7k instead of 2500, it costs damn near the same. but if youre paranoid, go 7k and change the filter at 3500.

Well, I'm reading my owner's manual and it says "Every 3,000 miles (5,000 km) or 3 months." So whatever consumer reports you guys are reading cool, it's your engine. However I'm going to change my oil 3K like my Bible says to. Like that guy up top said, "better to be safe than sorry."

RE: Oil Change
If anyone notices how dirty their oil is after 3k miles, I don't think they would let it go longer. But some people never change their own oil, so they never see it. I'll put up a before and after sometime. And I'm tired and have a headache. Bedtime.
