Based on the fact that your speedometer, tripmeter, and odometer all fail at the same time, your gauge cluster is probably fine, and the VSS is likely the cause of the problem.

Thanks for the kind words, but honestly most HCF members are much more knowledgeable than I am. My advice primarily comes from information found in available Civic service manuals and by learning from members' comments.
