RE: OBD2 to OBD1 conversion.
Tony (Forty04) did an OBD2 - OBD1 conversion in a 99, and like he said, seriously, the dizzy isn't necesarry. I've never heard of that and theres quite a few people on here that have turboed/converted to OBD1

I dont think that p28 is the proper ECU for your application.

RE: OBD2 to OBD1 conversion.
think thats a better suited question for Tranny/Differential
usually if its not in the same series (B series) it wont be interchangable

RE: OBD2 to OBD1 conversion.
you guys are probably right about the dizzy. i just know that mine needed changed becaus ei put a d16 z6 in a 96 ex. the dizzy was different from the d16z6 to y8 that is the only reason i said that. good luck on the swap sorry for the headache. it must have only been for the y8 to z6 swap. and a good place to pick up a conversion harness is www.xenocron.com this guy has a lot of good stuff

RE: OBD2 to OBD1 conversion.
wut does dizzzy means? distributor? i dont know if my car had a d18y8 engine before but my car is a 96 LX so im assuming yeah? so my hardness is a d18y8 and my distributor is a d18y8 part obd2 so i gotta change it or... change the plug and match the color?
