Default Normal?

hey guys i have two questions, first one is about my clutch pedal, directly right after the free play when pressed i hear this clicking sound almost like plastic cracking if i had to compare to something, does anyone have any idea what it could be?

second is in 3rd and 5th gears my stich shift rattles and is more noticeable over bumps, almost like someone is shaking the stick shift and causing it to vibrate.

anythin about these two concerns would be greatly appreciated thanks

I drive a 98 EX 5speed, so I know your car. First off, Do you have a short shifter, or have you done anything that made you take the old shifter loose? Mine rattles because I forgot to put the washers in and it has a butt load of freeplay. I am just lazy and have not fixed it.

As for the clutch pedal things, I dont have a clicking or cracking sound, mine is more of a sqeek.

well i just bought the car actually and it doesnt have a short throw. my clutch squeeks sometimes too makes you think its a cable clutch but more so lately it kind of pops while being pressed in, i wonder if its a spring or some kind of mechanism. have you ever adjusted yours? i was thinkin maybe that would help but i have no idea how i'd go about it
