Default No Sparks

Sorry...posted this incorrectly in another section by mistake...so now that I am here:

I needed to replace an exhaust valve on our 93 CIVIC.
I changed the belt also while I had the chance.
I have it all back together, new valve, new T belt, new head gasket.

I cannot get a spark.
I'm positive the belt is on correctly....even if not, I should still get spark.
Any clues as to where to begin looking for my spark would be appreciated.
Thanks

Did you reconnect the critical ground wire on the thermostat housing?

Been so long ( last fall ) I can't recall. I did just go out there and snap a pic. If there is a way to post a pic, I will post it.
Engine is a D15B7

I did look down at the thermo housing, there is a connection on it...multi wire...and one large spade connector that is empty...I don't recall ever removing anything from this.

I was wondering about the cap....is there supposed to be a spring loaded "contact plunger" ( not sure of correct word ) between it and the distributor?

Adding a pic.
I removed cap just to show the depression where I thought perhaps a contact should be.

Does the fuel pump prime for 2 seconds when the key is turned to ON(II)?

Post a clear picture of the thermostat housing showing the G101 ground. Make sure it is clean and tight.

Are you missing the coil spring?

Coil Spring!?...Sorry not real familair with Honda power. Is this the "plunger" I may have been thinking of? Connects cap to distributor?

Sorry for sounding so newbie'ish

Will check for prime etc. when battery is charged.
Have not turned it over this spring yet. I just remember the trouble I was having when it got too cold to work on it anymore.

OK great...thats what I thought. Is there a part number for this? I had a new distributor cap....but no "spring" was included.
It could well have fallen out of the dist. when I had the head off.

Go to a junk yard, otherwise you may need to buy a new coil.
