No spark help please!!!!!

ok just got the car started... i let it sit over night without the ecu or battery plugged in and it fired right up!!!! and fires consistently only problem is it die after about 5 sec of running

Sounds like your distributor isn't working correctly, make sure all connections are in the correct order.

Please read the threads in which you are posting. The 2001 Civic does not have a distributor.
