it does nothing......and when i pull the vacum off the regulator it just idles a lil higer

Can you rev the engine higher without stalling when the FPR vacuum hose is disconnected?

a little higher.......if you wanna hear what it does go to youtube and type in new motor bad idle.....mine runs just like that

they said they fixed theres by replacing the IACV.....so i think thats whats wrong with mine
