Default Need some opinions. Engine missing.

I have a D15B8 that recently started missing. I narrowed it down to cyl# 2. I did compression test and all cylinders were 190psi except #2. It was 105psi. I put some oil in cylinder and it jumped up to 145. Checked valves several times to be sure they were adjusted right. It seems to run a lot better when cold. The miss is more noticeable at idle but can feel it when driving. Motor has always comsumed a good bit of oil since about it. More than normal. I think it is a ring problem but have not ruled out an exhaust valve yet. Just wanted to get some opinions. Thanks. Anyone have a good D15B8 that they want to unload cheap?

The increased compression in the wet versus dry compression test of cyl 2 points to a bad piston ring.

That was my thoughts on it too, but I was hoping someone with more history with these cars might be able to give me some better news. Thanks for your help. No anyone who wants to sell a good motor cheap?

If your engine is missing, you need to buy another! Can't go anywhere without an engine...

Im pretty sure he meant it as a joke. Missing as in lost and/or stolen. But, then again...
