Default Need help getting my 1995 hond civc hatchback running again

Hello to all you smart honda guys and gals I need some help getting my 4 banger 5 speed hatch bach civic running again I was driving it too work the other day and it ran fine I tried to start it at my lunch break and it fired up then slowly bogged out now don t runn turns over but don t run any ideas on how I can fix the priob thanks any info would help

Sound like it your main relay, same thing happened to my car for longest time, it will start intermittently, since relay changed, issue solved.

probably your main relay. there's a DIY in the DIY forum on how to fix it.

yea zerojet it seems like you could be correct when i turn the car over the car starts to go click click click i have battery charger on battery so it ain t dead and the clicking seems to come from the main relay think i could still rebuild the relay? or u think clicking is coming from something else

the clicking is forsure under the left side of dash near relay I can also feel a bit of movment from the click when i put my hand under dash

If you're not getting enough electricity to turn the starter, all the relays are normally going to click, buzz, etc. like crazy from low voltage. The problem is there is no electricity. It could be the battery itself, or bad connections at the battery terminals.

It sounds like your charging system is not working, allowing the battery to run down until the engine stalled, again due to lack of electricity for the ignition and fuel systems. Charge it up fully and see it the car will start.

the cars battery is fine the car has spark and turns over but the main relay still clicks i even putt some gas down the cylinders and it didn t fire up it is really weird any ideas.....think it could be main relay still?

the car is getting fuel from fuel pump aswell i have checked timing belt etc SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME

Have you checked for ECU codes?
