Default Need help ECU gone bad?? Yes or NO

ok i have a 97 civic dx with a b16a swap and for some reason when i was driving my car just perfectly fine and it just cut off on me in the middle of the street. i changed the spark plugs and wires, ignition module, coil and the rotor and it still has no spark, i kno it's not the timing belt cuz i checked that out and that ok
Do u think it can be the ECU that just gave up on me ??
And if it did give on me what caused it to happen ??

Any one pleaze help me out

Even though its brand new, it still could be bad. Its not likely though, but it does happen. Theres a way to test them though. Do you have a multimeter? Im sure theres a "how to" on here somewhere if you search for it.

the distributor is fine cuz spark comes out of it but it does pass it on through the wires and the coil.

Are your fuel injectors firing, there is this tool. It looks kinda like a gun, you point it at your fuel injectors and the light on it will go on evertime your injector fires (it detects the magnetic field on the solenoid inside the fuel injector)

Might check your distributor cap. Make sure that litttle spring loaded pin is able to make contact with the coil and that your contacts aren't grooved out. I accidentally yanked that pin out once.
