NEED HELP: D4 light blinking and acceleration problems
I have a 1999 Honda Civic.
When it is in Drive, the D4 light in the gauge cluster blinks. Even when it is in another gear, it still blinks.
When it does this, it is hard for me to accelerate when I make a stop. I mean, I can push the gas to the floor and the car will just go up to about 15mph for a while and then once it gets to about 40 it'll be fine. But when Is stop at a red light again, the same things happens to start it moving again.
Please help. Does it just need transmission fluid?

The light means that there is a trouble code stored in the PCM. I'll post tomorrow what can you do to check the codes, its probably a shift solenoid in the tranny that went bad
