hey everyone i have a problem. i have a 97 lx auto. well i was driving down the street last night and all of a sudden my check engine light came on. when it came on my speed needle went haywire. it jumps all over the place. and my car shifts weird now. it hessitates and bobbles. today i went to put it in reverse and it didnt then i put it in park and then back into reverse and it worked then i put it in drive went like 2 feet and it stalled. has anyone ever have this problem. please help.

 

Use only NGK sparkplugs...Om my 94 accord ex auto it had Bosh sparks plugs and it was running like crap and sometimes the tranny wouldn't want to get the next gear. [&:]
Take it to auto-zone they will give you what code comes out for your check engine light on because that might be another problem

 

Sounds like your transmission is acting up. Take it to a dealer. A tranny is nothing toplay with.

 

I don't think so because thats what I thought it was on my accord took it to a shop and it was those nasty bosh plugs this was like 5 yrs ago and ever since only NGK plugs and it still runs like a champ[&:]

i want to thank u ronj for that link. u nailed it right on the head. it was just the fuse that ran everything. because of u. u let so much stress off my shoulders. i thank everyone that reply with there idea on what it was
