manual tranny install question
Gents:
I just installed the manual tranny on a replacement engine for my 95 coupe. I replaced the clutch and release bearing and rear seal. When I move the release fork back and forth I can't feel any force being exerted on/by the clutch.
Is this normal? Best I find out now before I drop it in the car!

Yes, I second that. There's no way you are going to move the fork with your hand. Amazing what a little hydraulics can do! I can tell you this though, when you go to put the tranny back in, only bolt up what you need to and verify correct operation before you go any further. I had a whole bunch of fun when I fixed a mainshaft tranny bearing and didn't put everything back correctly. It was a whole lot of fun trying to remove/install that tranny by myself. I think I had to take it out 3 times before I got it right.
