Default MAINT REQ'D dash light

Can anyone tell me how to get rid of the "MAINT REQ'D" light from the dash?

I've tried holding the trip meter reset button while turning on the ignition but that didn't work.

I've got a 2003 Honda Civic.

thanks,
Citroens

Default thanks

thanks -- the trick was the 5-10 second hold: I wasn't holding it long enough after switching the ignition on.

I don't have an owners manual -- car didn't come with one and Honda wants some ridiculous price.
Cheers
