lug nuts
I just bought an 95 civic sedan when i went to swap rims from stock to aftermarket on it 3 lugs nuts broke off so i was gunna take the whole unit out to replace them.. I took big nut off in the center of the drive shaft but the unit still wont come off any idea's how to get it off?
circle area is diffrent than what the how 2 page is this metal pice gets in way wont let it come out unless you take wheel hub off or repplace whole unit

Do you just need to replace the studs that broke? Because if so you can push the studs out and put new ones in, they only cost a couple dollers each. There is a wheel stud replacment DIY in the DIY section. I did one of mine and its pretty easy.

id do that but when you hit the studs to come out they hit and wont come out it is on a 95 ex with disc front brakes

preaty easy if ya got some tools and alittle grinder.....
the rears are REALY EASY tho!!! but if you broke 3 of them...... somethings messed up with that! they must have been WAY OVERTIGTHENED!!!!!! o rmaybe the wrong thread lug nuts!
i had to replace one of mine because tire shop used the wrong size lug nut and it striped 2 of them.... but while your at it i sugest replacing all of them.... cause the old ones could be stressed as well if they where all overtigthened!!!!!! plus its ALOT EASIER to just go ahead and replace them all besides just replacing one and the posibility of having another snap later on and then you have to go thru all that work again!
its just cheap insurance you could say....

mine wont work like that link you gave me there is a weird thing behing it only way to do it is eighter take the hub off or swap the whole unit out.. i'll take a picture of it and show you what im talking about.. give me few mins

you mean the spindle is in the way.... like SAID but not pictured to well...
is the spindle has been ground alittle to make room for the stud to be able to be replaced...
this picture doesnt show it to well but the 2nd picture shows it alittle beter... tho its not shiny where he ground it down.....
this second picture shows the ground down spot beter.... tho you need a air grinder unless you wanna pop off the whole spindle and carry it to the grinding bench.LOL which you could do..... just pop off both upper/lower balljoints and the steering balljoint and that axle nut and it should come right off after ya have the brake caliper off... and tied up outa the way..... dont let the brake line hold the caliper up....

as long as both dont or DO have ABS it should slap right over.... but if ones ABS and the others not.... i doubt it... just something to look for...
