I have come across the wonderful taski of having to replace the alternator on my car ( 93 civic si D16 ). wondering how am I supose to get it out of there once i have it unbolted, and suggestions?

I'm not sure if your design is the same as my 6th gen. i had to remove the mounting bracket to remove the alternator. you can do what trust said but i chose to remove the mounting backet which freed up just enough space to get it out the driver's side.
remember to use a deep socket 14 mm to get the bolt off and remove the driver's side front wheel for additional space.

Put the front end on stands, and remove the splash shield and the driver's wheel. Then follow the instructions below. I agree with mundy, removal of the alternator mounting bracket will ensure ease of alternator removal. The alternator is removed from below the car.
