Default Lots of exhaust fumes coming from my car

I have a 2003 Civic EX. I added a oil treatment to my engine and a quart of oil. The engine started to shake, and a lot of white smoke started to come out of exhaust pipe. Someone told me that I probably had too much oil in the car. So, took all the oil out and let it drain. I then put some more oil in started the car, and it did the same thing. When I say there is a lot of exhaust fumes, it is a lot and it's all white. I have a feeling my engine is screwed. What should I do?

White smoke is classically from a leak in the engine out of the cooling system into the cylinders, such as the head gasket. It doesn't have much to do with how much oil there is, typically this type of screwed engine is brought on by overheating it. The smoke will smell like antifreeze if that's the case. It's actually steam, not smoke. (Theater "smoke" is made from "non-toxic" antifreeze.)
