Leaky axel

Leaky axel
I finally found the source of my slight leak. I have been leaving a couple little drops everywhere I park for the last couple weeks. Finally found that its coming from right where the axle meets my trans. Before I go buying a new axle, I was wondering if there are any seals that may be bad in that area and what to look for. The axles only have about 20k on them max.

Would you think the seal is bad rather than the axle? It looks to be in good shape, not tears in the boot, and has very little play in it. I have never done any work on an axle so Im weary of tearing right into it.

You probably don't need a new axle, just a new seal. When you pull the axle out, make sure the axle surface that runs in the seal is smooth. Also I think the seals are slightly different between the two sides of the car, be sure you get the correct one.

Is there a website that sells OEM honda parts? The Honda by me is gay and doesnt sell parts directly. The same guy owns almost all the car lots and send all the repair work to one shop. I have a cable trans from a 92 integra, but I have been told to use the axles from the 94+ tegs. Does this change anything?
