Ive tried everything... and it still runs like ish
hi. 92 4door. 1.5. nonvetec. replaced fuelfilter. distributor inculd cap rotor. plugs made sure they were gapped. plug wires. valve cover gasket. checked timing and ohms on fuel injectors. the problem is irregular and not consistant. ill be driving and the power cuts down to nothing. like it feels its only on two cylinders, like fuel cut. then it kicks back in. sometimes it only does it second and third, then its fine. most of the time its like that in idle all the way to 80mph. when its muffled, the "sound" is the same no matter what, but the power is decreased... any insite would be greatly appreciated. j-

Maybe a faulty fuel pump -- measure whether the fuel pressure is at spec.
Also possible distributor issue -- Check the resistance of the coil and do a igniter unit input test

Is the CEL ON? http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread/1901557
