Default Ignition problem

I have a 91 Civic hatch 1.5 i bought about a week ago..
it ran fine after jumping it but wouldnt charge the battery with the alternator

replaced the alternator and charged the battery it ran fine i went inside for a minute then came back out and it wasnt running but the stereo and all electrical systems were running fine

now after replacing spark plugs, oil, valve cover gaskets, fuel filter, and oil filter its still not running. its getting fuel but it sounds like its not firing.

If anyone knows anything or has had this problem and knows how to fix it your help would be greatly appreciated

Check if the ignition is generating sparks to the spark plug wires. If not, check if the camshaft is rotating.

Having the same problem. My son crossed his wires when trying to jump the car now it doesn't start after jumping it and driving it for a while. I just replaced the alternator before this happened. Did he burn something out when he crossed the wires?

Trying to run with a spark wire disconnected can blow the coil.

Found the problem. Battery wasn't holding a charged so after replacing it haven't had any more problems so far.
