Try resetting the ECU. Just pull the fuse, wait ten minutes and put it back in. See if that clears it up.

Bad ground somewhere? Did you have to remove anything before/during install?

it appears your new HIDs are sapping your car's energy supply.

does it idle funny with your HIDs off?

no i didnt remove anything. I moved the power steering reservoir, to get the new bulb in my driver side headlamp, but I made sure to check everything once I put it back. The whole thing was basically a "bolt on" All I did was add, I didnt remove anything. There were 3 grounding wires I believe, one went to the same spot as the ground from the transmission I think. The other two are grounded underneath the control thingy that it came with. Is there anything wrong with those grounds?

Im not really sure. Yesterday right after I installed them, I went to an underground parking structure to try them out, and they worked. So i turned them off, and as I was pulling out, i stopped to let this car go in front of me, and my car nearly stalled. I had them off for the rest of the 20 minutes I was driving, and it was idling weird the whole time. Then last night I was fixing it, and I broke the circular ring that goes to the neg terminal, so I had to rig that to work so i could take my girlfriend home at 10 at night with headlights. Last night it wasnt too bad, it was just idling lower than normal, but it wasnt fluctuating. It was at like 500 solid normally its at like 800. My girlfriend said so whats the big deal...hahha girls are funny, she thinks im exaggerating when im hunched over staring at my RPMs and listening closely for anything. This is the first real problem my car has had that I couldnt figure out, so thats why im a little worried
