Not to hijack your thread Jess, but mk378 may be able (and willing) to point me in the right direction. My apologies.

This is my problem, mk378. Same car as Jess (2000 Civic DX M/T). I was thinking it HAS to be the IACV, but hate to spend the money for replacement and that not fix my problem. I would greatly appreciate your suggestions. And anyone else's of course.

PS - I haven't checked or replaced the PCVV yet either.

Hi guys, finally my car's idle problem when a/c's on is fixed. It was in the timing. some guys must have done it completely wrong even before i bought the car. Many thanks to you all.

Just one question... What is the normal level of water temperature for this model of car. I have my indicator at half mark, is it normal w/ a/c on and not so much traffic?
