Default I would really appreciate some help guys!

Hey, what's up? I am new here but have owned a few civics. I just got my latest, a 93 ex black on grey. My problem is that there is a bushing down in my pass side lower control arm. The problem is that the bolt that runs through the controll arm and the bushing won't tighten, it just turns and turns. Is the nut on the other side of the bolt fixed fto the frame or is there a nut in there? The housing around it won't let you get to a nut on the other side of the bolt or even see one, I am worried, can someone help me to understand what is going on in there and/or how to approach fixing the problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

From what I remember there's a nut welded on there...if it spins it could have rotted off. Are you sure the bolt isn't stripped and that it's the correct length?

this problem is what got me started on forums. i couldnt figure out why, after my swap, every time i'd floor it, or hit vtec, it would jerk really hard to the right. after asking on many many many boards, i finally figured it out on my own. the nut DOES fall off occassionally, and thats what happened to you. i used a dremel and cut that hole near where the nut is, and got it just big enough for a wrench to fit through. then i clamped it down, and finally i welded the nut back on. you can leave the nut unwelded, but then every time you work on it, youll need 2 wrenches. not a big deal though. good luck.

I remeber Sacicons trying to figure this thing out. Took him like a year if I recall.
