i need some help plesae...
i just joined this site tonight, i have a 1993 civic coupe ex D1.6z engine, i have replaced the suspension with Skunk2 coilover strut assy., Skunk2 strut bars(ft.&rear), Skunk2 ft.upper control arms & rear lower arms, rear camber adjust arms, Skunk2 rear tie bar, replaced rear trailing arm bushings (oem), Skunk2 short shifter, Skunk2 intake and 66m throttle body, AEM short ram intake (doesn't fit to good with new throttle body and intake), DC Sport header 4-2-1, Gready cat back. i love the added horse power and fun ride it gives, but, i want more...! so can anyone point me in the right way? i was thinking of doing a Skunk2 cam, adjustable cam gear,
new valave springs and retainers, AEM fuel rail and adjustable regulator. any thoughts? i'm new at the honda stuff, i have a Dodge Omni GLH turbo that does 12's and a stock 1986 Mustang SVO with 40k in the garage. i would like to build a great honda this time.
any help would be great!! thank you very much!

you could swap the engine.... k series is your best base right now, but you are looking at 7-9k for parts
you could start building the little d for turbo, i have the same engine, just no work on my engine yet... no money haha
the fuel rail doesnt need to be replaced... i think the stock is rated to like 700hp? something like that haha
if you want drastic hp increase, i would definitely swap... a nice b series build in there would quicken her up, then turbo it... or the k...

thanks, i'm thinking of putting a cam in it with cam gear, then put on dyno for a good tune.
i read the ecu page put up by the host, but, i don't understand how the ecu is chipped or
worked. i'm a chrysler tech, so when we do the "chips" or flashes we just replace the ecu
witha performance ecu, or flash the ecu with a programer. is it something like that??
if i could get a point the right way to a site or something on how to do this it would be great!
by the way, this site is GREAT!! i can finally get some answers to things! thank you very much
to everyone that has helped!!

Unless you have 10-12k to blow on your civic (which could run just like your Omni with that k20), I recomend swapping in a 92-95 H22 from a prelude. The entire swap (with LSD trans, hasport mounts and hasport axles as options) is about $3300 from hmotorsonline. You could even shop around and peice the swap together for cheaper. Being a tech yourself, I'm sure you can tackle some wiring changes (all of which are well documented with a little googleing) mounting a cable shifter and some masaging of the engine bay. With 200HP stock, and a LSD, you'd have a very fast EG.
you could blow the same $3k~ish on a turbo setup for your D. But I dont recomend that, not that I have anything agisnt turbocharging, but unless you planned to lower the old D's compression, you'd be limited to around 7psi. at 7psi you'd make slightly more HP than the H22, but drivability would suffer beyond what $3k would buy you. I know, I went that route. My CRX overheated like crazy, ran rich as hell when not in boost, was somewhat laggy, and popped two "virgin" D's. I ran 7psi, put together the kit for about the cost of a b16 at the time (2k+), and ironicly was slower that my friends full interrior, a/c equipped b16 CRX with bolt-ons.
you could always swap a B in there for roughly the same cost and less effort, but you own a 12 second dodge omni...
go with the H22 ^.~
