i need help
my buddy bought my si gauge cluster off of me and for some reason it is acting weird. he has a 98 civic hatch and for some reason the gas gague always says its full and the temp gauge just stays down the whole time, it doesnt move at all no matter what he temp is. so i was wondering if anybody knew what might be wrong. if you could help it would be much appreciated

RE: i need help
What year civic was the cluster from? Do the two clusters have any differences in the gauges present?
When removed from you car, did the fuel gage read full and the temp gauge read cold in the unplugged cluster? If so, a possible explanation would be that one of the multiple cluster connectors has the wires for both the fuel and temperature gauges and that this specific connector is not properly seated (no electrical connection). Pull the cluster back out and ensure that each connector is tightly plugged in.
