i did a head swap from a 98' ex m/t to my 98' hx m/t. i picked up the 98 ex m/t ecu. i am trying to go from the stock hx 7 wire harness to wire in a 4 wire primary o2 sensor. if someone could tell me what the wire colors on the stock harness mean it would help alot. i need to know which wire is signal, ground, heater+ and heater-. here are the wire colors in the stock harness,

white/black
green/black
black
white

there are three wires that have a shield over them and are thicker than the others black, red and white i believe those are the wires that are only used on the hx wideband o2 if i am wrong please let me know

i also wanted to know how i could check trouble codes without a scan tool.

 

OK, i figured out the o2 wiring issue and just had the the car scanned and the codes now are p0325=Knock Sensor Circuit Malfunction and p0118=coolant temp circuit high input.

could anyone tell me if this has anything to do with ghanging the o2 sensor
