how to tell cv joint going out

Default how to tell cv joint going out

my cv joint is making a click noise driving foward at low speed not while turning or high speed on pass side

How do you know the clicking noise is coming from the CV joint? They more commonly click or clunk while turning. Are the inner or outer boots torn?

am not sure, it sounds like its coming from the front wheel. the outer boot is torn.

Replace any axles with a torn boot. Then go from there.
