Default How should I add an o2 bung ?

Y7 manifold cracked and some guy was offering a header for $25. So all the hippies are gonna be pissed off at me because I installed a header on my y7 and didnt get a catalytic converter to replace the one that was on my manifold.
Anyway the header has a 2nd o2 bung but its pointed up toward the car and im planning on doing the spark plug non fouler trick however this causes the o2 sensor to stick out too much and doesnt have the proper clearance.
Im considering extending the o2 wires and sticking a bung somewhere on the exhaust. After I drill out a hole can I just thread it and screw the nonfoulers in or should I weld in a nonfouler and consider it an o2 bung.
As an alternative I can just convert to my p06 ecu but I dont have a obd2a to obd1 jumper harness. They sell em for $34 on ebay. Should I trust an ebay jumper harness?
