how do i identify my b series head?

Default how do i identify my b series head?

supposedly, i bought a b20/b16 frankenstein. i am new to hondas, so i would like to know if it really has a b16 head. i dont know how to tell, but would love to learn. i have pics of the engine on my garage page. any help on the issue would be greatly appreciated. thanks! sorry for all the questions!

Thats not a b16 head. It looks like an ls/b20 head.

btw, the head has a p75-2 head code...

oh. well i hope the cams help compensate for the lack of vtec. id imagine a b18c or b16 head swap is a headache. espescially for a mechanical simpleton such as my self...

is there a way to see if the tranny is really a gsr trans?

doesn't look like an LS head either to me

LS valve cover looks like this

EDIT: nevermind, looks like there were two different LS valve covers... perhaps an OBD1 version and OBD2 version
