Default honda civic, is a DX, EX????

how do i know what kind of honda civic i hav? Everytime i go to the auto parts store they give me the wrong parts, I thought I had a DX. I always have to return the part and get a different one, there's no tag on the car that says dx EX LX SE CX GX HX LX SI ??? How can I tell?

pics? do you have a sunroof? do you have painted mirrors? alloy wheels? we need some info here please. what year is it? go to the block, read number on side, post results!

that's why I posted this question, where do i need to look and what to look for,

No power windows, no sunroof , no alloy wheels, 2000 honda civic , no tinted windows, what do i look for on the side of the block?

sounds like a dx to me if it is power nothing. the dx is the base model.

the model number (ej6, ej7, ej8) all corresponds to trim of the car and that should be on your vin.

i wasnt going there, this guy seemed kind of noobish to where things are, feel meh?!

cx is barebones too, i dont have anything power, no ac, no cruise.. DX version of the ek hatch has a back window wiper where as the CX dont, so i think the DX is one above the CX

hello, im not a newbie but im not an expert either, i just looked at the VIN and it's a EJ6, what does that make it?

ej6= dx look on the block on the motor where the trans and block meet, just left of the exhaust manifold and tell us what it says.

lol i feel yah. i was in the same place as him at one point but i figured that out on my own so i guessed it was pretty simple haha
