honda civic 97 ex breaks/tires
i have a 97 ex civic, and its summer and i don't know if this is my problem but every time i drive like around 10 or more miles the wheels gets too hot, its that a problem or its just me, becuz i cant even touch the rims they get too hot.
if its normal and i am sorry for wasting someones time, but i am just worry that thing might be getting to hot and something later on might go wrong.

all the wheels? front hotter then the back, or back hotter then the front? Any one wheel hotter then the other?
I would guess (without any further information) that your brakes are dragging, and generating a LOT of heat.
Or if you have an automatic, and tend to use your left foot for braking, you could be riding the brakes constantly and this would contribute to your problem.

the front ones are the ones getting too hot, the backs one barely, it is automatic, and no i dont use left foot to break, all my right one. like i said maybe i am breaking too much or just need new breaks, last time i changed them was....umm i think 5 or 4 months ago. i use the car daily.

City traffic will do that. Brakes merely convert the motion of the car to heat so it's unavoidable they will heat up with heavy use. Try not to speed up so much that you must jam on the brakes at every corner, that saves gas too. They are designed to get a lot hotter than "too hot to touch" and still work.
It's also normal for the front to run hotter than the back, as the front brakes do most of the work. When you brake, the weight of the car shifts forward, taking weight off of the back wheels. If the back brakes were designed to be as strong as the fronts, the back tires would just skid. In other words the front wheels have more traction so they can brake harder.
