Does anyone know the cheapest place to order Honda ATF Z1? The cheapest I found was like $7 a quart and i feel like i can get it for that price at the dealer. Also, couldn't find the entire auto trans fluid capacity for a 97 Civic EX VTEC? I have to replace my trans but found one with only 55K miles for $300 and would like to know how many quarts i need to order to fill it to capacity? It has been completely drained including out of the Torque Converter... Tried looking at Autozone.com under repair manuals but couldn't find anything on the ATF. Thanks

 

6.2 quarts total capacity for overhaul on all automatic 96-00 Civics.


and for future reference to anyone who might come across this thread, drain and refill capacity is 2.9 quarts.
