Hi All... here's my list...
First post here.
My Fiancee has a 96 civic ex I've been working on.
We got it cheap about 6 years ago with 90k on it.
it has aftermarket shocks and springs which i could not identify.
I just replaced the front rotors and pads.
when i hit certain bumps, the car has a tendency
to lurch slightly to the right or at least shudder a bit,
any suggestions?
Also, the only way I'll get her to check her oil on her own,
at least occasionally, I need to replace both the hood latch handle,
and the crappy oil dipstick, both of which are only usable via
pliers beside the driver's seat. I hope to find parts that will hold up better
as the stock stick and hood release are both cheap plastic.
i think i saw a del sol dipstick that looks like insulated all-metal.
would this be a similar spec from the plug to the tip?
I also need to replace the receptacles for the reverse lamps,
as they fit loosely in the aftermarket taillights,
and got slammed in the trunk until unrecognizable,
and i've been led to feel like it's my fault...hehehe.
anyone have a cheap source for quality parts?

The important thing about the hood release is to keep the latch itself lubricated and properly adjusted, so there's no need to wail on the handle to get it open. With a normal pull those cheap plastic things still last the life of the car.

i understand the common sense aspect of the situation... ;-p
i just want to know how to help my lady out a little more easily here.
we are a pretty short on money atm, just like a lot of people right now.
24 hrs ago. i was woken by police, as someone hit-and-run
my 02 wrx and took off the drivers side mirror...
a little stressed here, if you know what i mean!
