does any one know about the compatability between the years of the motors ??????? i have a 94 d15b7 bottom end and a 92 d15b2 top end had it running after the head swap ..everything seem to match up but blew a head gasket on the ride home ...n e ideas ..just bought a rebuild kit for it but a lil worried i might run into problems..

Those parts should match perfectly. The two are almost exactly the same engine. (I thought the D15B2 was only used up to 1991.) If the engine has been run overheated, the head and/or block could be warped, which will cause the gasket to blow.
