Helpppp
I have a 1996 honda civic sedan lx.
When i start the car and is idling it is so rough i feel like im in a earthquake. All the fluids are good, my exhaust manifold is cracked though. When i look at the engine with the hood up, the "whole" set up shaking. And when i try to accelerate it is so delayed...anyone help?

yes it has been on for like a week now. last time it was on my dad put the code reader thingy and he cleaned the sprk plugs and then it was good, its been driving with a little lag in the acceleration for a while, but now the car is like having convulsions. and by working yes i just cant drive very fast without the car seeming like its on something, literally shakes like a crazy addict

Check the codes again. It almost sounds like it's misfiring if its shaking that bad.
Start it up and pop the hood. Pull one of the spark plug wires out a little. See if the idle changes. If all cylinders are firing, it should idle worse when you pull one of the plug wires. If it doesn't change, that cylinder isn't firing and I'd start looking at the plug wires or distributor. Check each cylinder one at a time.
(My wires recently looked perfect, but were actually toast, for example.)

The reader will tell you which cylinder is misfiring if that's the case. This way also tells you the same info. But if there are any other related problems, the code reader will be the best way to find out.
There is also a "paperclip" method to read CEL codes. Read up on that one here: ►►THE Check Engine Light (CEL) THREAD: HOW TO & CODES◄◄ - Honda-Tech
