Default Help with Turn signals please

I'm new here and I'm looking for some help. I just picked a 2000 Civic EX 4 door coupe, and the turn signals and hazard flashers don't work. I checked the fuse (it's fine) and I replaced the flasher relay. But they still don't work. Before I spend $125 on a new switch, I hoping there is something else I can try. The headlights and tail lights work.

Thanks for the help.

Check the bulbs, it's possible that all 4 are burnt out, missing, etc. You never know with a used car.

Pry the hazard button out of the dash and make sure it is plugged in. All the circuits go through that button, it is more likely to be the problem as the switch on the column only does the blinkers it doesn't have anything to do with the hazards. Also power for the hazard function comes from a different fuse, which is under the hood I think. The same relay is used for both.

I'll check the hazard switch. I did check the hazard fuse under the hood and it was fine. I believe the bulbs are ok.
Thanks for the help.

You have to unplug that switch to take the dash trim off to get to the cluster, for example to take the bulb out of the check engine light. (Does your check engine light pass the bulb test?)

The CEL is on, but I knew that when I bought the car. Owner says the code is for the cat. converter. I'm going to recheck the code tonight.

The code is for the converter. I plan on changing that in the next week or so.
