HELP!! SERIOUS PROBLEM!
ok so im gutting my car out at the moment and about 15 minutes ago i had to take my drivers seatbelt off to remove some sound deadoning and somehow it locked up on me and it wont reach where it was bolted in and i cant get it to release the belt the more i back off the more it locks in HELP!

check and make sure your car is level...
i know with ym truck seat belts if it was angled the weight inside the belt would lock the mechanism..
and if you can see the mechanical gears on the belt then check and make sure no glue or deadener is in thier which would keep the weight for going into release position...

hey thanks for the info, but the problem was much simpler than i thought. in order for seatbelts to function correctly they have to be bolted in, with some experimenting i figured this out, bolted it in, and now its working perfectly
