Hello, i am new to this site.

Can anyone pls help me with an error code on my honda Civic 2003 LX.

The CEl light comes on and off, it is now permanently on. I checked it and it came up as P1457. I know it has to do with the EVAP Emission Canister. Any ideas on what to check?

way easier to do on a hoist but the vacuum canister is in front of the fuel tank most likely pull off the line on the vent purge solenoid if its dirty replace the solenoid. It's stuck open and that's why the line is dirty... therefore the engine light.

go aftermarket and get a brand called bluestreak or standard or chicago rawhide.. they are all the same brand but in the end the part is made by standard/bluestreak. That same company just owns chicago rawhide as far as i know. sorry rambling on about useless info.

think when i priced it out in canada it was about 180 bucks or so. when i priced it out at honda it was 2 or 300 dollars.
