Default Help with 1999 CIVIC LX SEDAN Radio Antenna

So Ive been looking on youtube and google and all im finding are stupid videos and threads about antennas that go up or down or you can access through a door......

where is the help for the people that have the antenna inside the back window or wherever it may be, how do you replace that one, why does nobody even talk about this.

do I need to get a new back window? do i need to take the back window out? is this still a DIY job or is this much more difficult and requires a shop?

The stock antenna would come out of the front corner of the roof near the driver's door. It telescopes manually (i.e. you can pull it up and down by hand).

Anything else is third-party aftermarket stuff.

cuddlycowey, would you mind taking a photo of your entire car and then a close up of the antenna in question? Please do not make fun of mk, he's a great contributor here. There is no need for this. It appears to us that you have an aftermarket antenna so having a photo and attaching it to a post will only help us figure things out.
